THE FLAVOR
The Pasteis De Nata aka Portugese Egg Tart cookie is filled with a creamy egg custard filling. During the 17th century, the Portuguese egg tart made its entry into the Asian culinary scene, specifically in Macau. Today egg tarts have become a staple item on Chinese bakery menus
